I grew up with dogs and cats and have shared space with pets almost all my adult life.

This print is inspired by my pup who is a clever, naughty, funny floofball. Every day is huge learning curve in terms of caring for another lifeform, and he gets away with murder. While not an exact image of his breed – he’s a Tibetan Terrier – I instead concentrated on capturing the look of love and anticipation in his eye whenever it's dinner or playtime. Anyone who has met a TT will know how much they love to play with their family and how persistent that look can get when you’re not immediately following their every command.

Printmaking with lino is a manual craft that requires specialist tools and inks. The nature of the process means that each print is unique and may feature some speckling in the ink. This is part of what makes this artform so beautiful. Please note there may be slight variations from the print in the photo.

This is an unframed linocut print and I will send it to you in a compostable protective sleeve backed with card and a board-backed envelope to keep it sturdy and ready to frame or give as a gift.
