Every notebook, journal and sketchbook is built from scratch, with some featuring original linocut prints.
Black, gold and silver trees notebook
The cover for this journal is made with dove grey book cloth and a blue-black Nepalese Lokta paper decorated with silver and gold trees. Inside, the endpapers are GF Smith Colorplan in Scarlet. The lined paper inside is made from 90gsm Munken Smooth - Pure Ivory. It includes a red ribbon.
I make every notebook by hand, from folding and sewing the internal papers together to make the 'text block' through to selecting and cutting papers and book cloth, which I then use to build the final covers. Each notebook is unique and has slight variations - the photos show each key aspect of the book to help you see what you are buying.
I only make a handful of notebooks at a time – and some papers go out of stock at my supplier – but if you like the look of the notebook style but have different colours in mind please do send me a message. I have a lot of paper options and can share photos with you. Bespoke commissions will take a bit longer in terms of delivery in order for the glue to dry and the book to be pressed flat.
All books are posted in a protective book envelope.
