Every notebook, journal and sketchbook is built from scratch, with some featuring original linocut prints.
Tree of hearts
This A6 card features an original linocut print of a tree with leaves and hearts, hand drawn, carved and printed by me using Cranfield Caligo safe wash Paynes Grey on 260gsm Fabriano Medioevalis cream paper. The red hearts art finished with watercolour pencil. The card measures 130x170mm and has deckled edges. It comes with a matching envelope and is blank inside for your own message. Perfect for letting someone know you’re thinking of them.
Printmaking with lino is a manual craft that requires specialist tools and inks.
The nature of the process means that each card is slightly different and may feature some speckling in the ink. This is particularly true of this type of textured paper and is part of what makes this artform so beautiful. Please note there may be slight variations from the card in the photo.
I will post your card in a compostable sleeve and board-backed envelope to protect it.
